David Wall visits CTCP

On the 4th of May 2009, CTCP played host to David Wall, Professor of Criminal Justice and Information Society, from the University of Leeds in the UK.

Professor Wall guest lectured on "The Transformation of Crime in the Information Age" to an enthusiastic audience at the CTCP within the iC Campus.

Professor Wall was Director of the Centre for Criminal Justice Studies at Leeds between 2000 and 2005 when he became Head of the School of Law (2005-2007). In 1998, with Clive Walker and Yaman Akdeniz, he formed the Leeds University Cyberlaw Research Unit.

He is a leading authority in the field of cybercrime and his attendance at CTCP reflects a growing trend in attracting world class academics to the Centre as guest speakers.
